New Delhi: In a major disappointment to homeless people who are iPhone users, AAP’s inhouse science and technology and expert Dr. Kumar Vishwas has said that AAP’s shelter finding app will only be released for android for now.

The app which is reportedly called AAPkaShelter is getting popular among the homeless population of Delhi and has been downloaded a million times in last 5 days according to Google Play statistics.
“The iOS version of the app is still under development so I suggest the homeless iPhone users to either switch to android or wait for some more time,” Dr Vishwas told media.
He then quickly added, “The homeless people who have a MacBook “Air” however can download a lighter web version of AAPkaShelter on their desktops and start to use it.”
AAPkaShelter is a paid app and can be purchased from Google Play store with ease.
Talking about the App pricing Dr Vishwas provided further details, “For homeless people who belong to general category the app is priced at a meagre 500 rupees per download with a maintenance fee of 50 rupee per month. For homeless people who belong reserve category the app is not only free but we will actually pay them 500 for downloading the app and we will then pay them 50 rupee per month for keeping it installed in their smartphones. However if any of the homeless pay with their Grindlays bank credit card then will waive the 0.5% swachh bharat cess for them.”
Dr Vishwas ended with a smile and then began reciting a poem on homeless people which he has prepared for the occasion.
While it is not yet clear on how the app will work in long run, several homeless people have complained that instead of guiding them to the shelters the app is sometimes guiding them to cheap motels with discounted rates.
