Mumbai: Yes it can happen! Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev’s brand Patanjali Ayurveda Ltd is planning for a far more aggressive marketing strategy and leaving no space left to promote the brand. After being the leading sponsor of many prime time shows on some leading General Entertainment Channels and News Channels, Baba Ramdev is planning to start ‘unconventional’ marketing. Reliable sources from Patanjali have informed Faking News that the brand will now sponsor the live streaming of dance bar performances in police stations.
Readers must note that in order to prevent vulgarity and exploitation of women, the Maharashtra Police has come up with a plan to live stream the dance bar performances in the nearest police stations. As soon as the plan came into the notice of Baba Ramdev, he instructed the marketing team of Patanjali tosubmit a proposal for sponsoring the live feed and run ads of Patanjali products during the breaks between the performances. Sources within the Mahrashtra police have confirmed that such proposal has been received and is currently being discussed within the department.
However, Faking News has learnt that sponsorship proposal is getting a mixed response from the Maharashtra police authorities as some of the station officers have opined against it. When we contacted one such officer and asked him about the reason of his disagreement with the sponsorship, he replied on the condition of anonymity, “We all respect Babaji. Bole toh his kapalbhati made me reduce my waist size from 38 to 36. But kya hai na, when we will be watching the dance performance we will be doing our duty. Now imagine if someone misbehaves with a girl in the bar when the ad is being played then who will be responsible?”
Meanwhile an anonymous official from Patanjali has said, “The live feed from dance bars may deviate the police officials from the path of duty, so Babaji had come up with the idea that why not keep reminding them of Yoga and Ayurved in between the stream, so that they can stay focussed.” great idea it seems from both ends, doesn’t it?
