RaGa a great votary of Women Empowerment has once again gone ballistic over his pet theme. He was addressing a gathering of empowered women’s group consisting of Barkha, Sagarika, Rana, Nayantara Seghal, Romila and a motley crowd of Congress Mahila Morcha.
He reminded them of how Rajiv Gandhi had empowered them by bringing TV into India which led them to become news anchors and spokespersons. He recalled that his grandmother, a self empowered woman had empowered Sonia. As a result his mother could say, “I am Indira’s Daughter in-law. Why should I be scared of any one”.

He said that this is the way how Congress empowers women and explained how it differs from Modiji’s model of empowerment. “Recently I addressed a large group of women in Carmel College in Bengaluru. They were very tolerant and heard my speech patiently. When I asked them a few questions and expected them to answer “NO” they answered “YES”. As you all know “YES” has a positivity while “NO” has a negativity. It also showed how tolerant I am”.
“Now take the case of Modiji’s model. Two days back in Barpeta, I wanted to enter a temple. I saw a lot of women gathered there to welcome me. When I asked them whether I can enter the temple and expected them to say “YES”. But they said “NO”. This is how Modiji empowers women. They are full of negativity and intolerance” he ended.

So we were all waiting for Narayanswami to do the rituals of footwear removal. Since Narayanaswami did not turn up Rahulji decided to walk away without taking bath or a visit to the temple.
