Democratic Presidential front-runner in America, Hilary Clinton yesterday sued her Republican rival, Donald Trump for defamation alleging that his use of the term ‘Auntyji’ to describe her on American TV was ‘vulgar, deplorable and unnecessarily defamatory’.
In the suit filed against Trump, she said that he could have even called her ‘Behenji’ or ‘Didiji’ but that the term ‘Auntji’ insulted her sensibilities and made her sound older than she felt. “Let’s face it. Hundreds of thousands of women in India have to live through the humiliation of being called ‘Auntyji’ silently. But I am not the one to remain silent. Hilary Clinton, who saw a recording of the Arnab-Rahul interview immediately withdrew her case against Donald Trump. “Imagine having such birdbrains as Pappu representing me on TV and fighting my case. Rahul Gandhi issued a statement saying that: “Hilary Aunty ji had got it all mixed up. I only wanted to help her and hope she will win and visit 10 Janpath to meet dear Mummy ji, Didi ji and Jijaji”.
