New Delhi. Things went quite rough in Dwaraka area of New Delhi when Ram Singh (name not changed on request of popularity), a DU student got beaten up by an angry mob.
It all started when the groom’s uncle under the influence of alcohol (‘totally flat’ as the witnesses puts it) began showing off his amateur dance skills, some of them which were apparently Bhangra while constantly switching to other uncanny dance styles. Everything went quite well till the uncle switched to the infamous Naaagin Dance forcing (physically) every single soul near him to join. Ram who was the coolest guy in the society too couldn’t escape this menace. “He lands a punch on uncle’s face in self defense (although he missed) stirring up the hornet’s nest and the next moment we know everyone is shouting Maaro Maaro (Hit Him! Hit Him!)”, told to our FN reporter, Bittoo a close friend of Ram’s who himself managed to throw a few punches at him (Ram not the uncle) in the confusion.
“Arrey mere jija pe haath kaise utthaya saale ne is baar bach gaya par agli baar nahi choodunga“, expressing his anger as he combats a hangover said the uncle’s brother in law who was discovered in a ditch last night due to which he was not able to disrupt attend the wedding.
Our FN reporter to get a load of the other side’s story managed to reach the victim. “It was very horrible as if my whole life flashed before me”, told a not so horrified Ram while updating his FB status which wrote ”JuSt SaVeD a Gal ROFL LOL #India Wake up #Delhi Ashamed #Proud to be a guy” and making his location RML hospital visible. Amidst these news the government has announced compensation of 5 Lakh to the victim and 2-2 Lakhs to the people who got their knuckles hurt in the fight.
