Mumbai: In a surprising development, Pranav Dhanawade, who recently scored unimaginable 1009 runs in an innings in Mumbai school cricket, has rejected BCCI offer to join the India team.
“As you know we are in an urgent need of batsman who can pile up as many runs as possible so that our bowlers can defend it comfortably,” a concerned BCCI spokesperson explained the decision to include Pranav to Faking News.
BCCI has approached Pranav Dhanawade and offered him to join the team as an opening batsman with Rohit Sharma in the ongoing series against Australia.
“Yes, BCCI approached me but I am not keen to join Indian team. Currently, India’s bowling is very weak. I fear that if I somehow manage to score 1000 runs again, it will get chased down quite comfortably,” Pranav worryingly said to FakingNews.
“I am ready to join the Indian team if BCCI also offers to include the bowlers of my team (KC Gandhi High School),” Pranav suggested.
BCCI has not yet reacted to Pranav’s suggestion.
Meanwhile, reports are coming in that Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal, has asked PM Modi to give him control of the Indian Cricket team so that he can turn their fortunes around.
