Mumbai boy’s social media accounts shut down for not posting selfie at Doolally for 3 months

Mumbai: In the early house of Monday, Mumbai Police shocked Sachin, a Dadar resident when after a surprise raid; they confiscated his smartphone and deactivated all his social media accounts. This action was taken by Mumbai Police after he failed to post even a single selfie clicked at Doolally taproom even after staying in Mumbai for 3 months. m5zdC0If

Sachin Kumar, working in a leading IT firm was transferred to Mumbai 3 months back and has been living here ever since.

Speaking to Faking News, a bewildered Sachin said, “This is scary. I heard a knock at my door late last night. When I opened the door, a team of Mumbai Police entered and asked me to show them my smartphone.  They browsed through all the photos I have posted on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and then deactivated all of my accounts.”

“When I asked them why, they told me that I am misusing Social Media and not following the Mumbai law of posting a selfie clicked at Doolally at regular intervals. I showed them selfies clicked outside Mannat, Galaxy Apartments and Jalsa but they didn’t budge. In fact, they scolded me for stereotyping Mumbai and restricting it to Bollywood alone”, Sachin said.

“I told them that I don’t even drink so why will I go to a place that sells beer but they dismissed this as a silly excuse and told me that sharing a selfie is mandatory, drinking is optional”, Sachin added.

When we asked Sachin whether he mentioned to the police that he is new in the city and unaware of local rules, he replied, “Yes I did. But they told me to avoid mentioning that I am an outsider for my own safety.”

Now Sachin has decided that he will get some selfies clicked at Doolally first and then register himself again on social media websites. “This is the first thing I am going to do. I will take some friends along and visit Doolally. I may not drink but as I did all through my college life, I will eat the food they order as they enjoy their beer”, he said.

“I am not going to stop at Doolally though, I am also getting a selfie clicked while traveling in Mumbai local to show that I am a real Mumbaikar now”, Sachin announced. However, after spending 4 hours at Dadar station and failing to get in a local, he gave up and returned home.
