Arnab says Jasleen should pay the Rs 50,000 fine to NBSA instead

Why such ruthless reporting? Nation wants to know.

Mumbai/ New Delhi. After being fined Rs 50,000 by NBSA for wrongly covering the ‘Jasleen Kaur’ case, Arnab is trying his best to shed off the blame to the poor victim Jasleen. In a recent statement, he said that the girl should pay the fine instead of the company. His justification is that the girl acted too innocent and compelled the team to believe that she was victimized.

Arnab said, “I don’t usually side with anyone. You can check my shows if you don’t believe me. But Jasleen’s face was as if she were about to cry. I could not help but trust her. It is all her fault. This was a planned strategy against me.” He added, “Why am I being blamed? Everyone assumes women to be innocent. What did you expect me to do?”

However, Arnab agreed to give a written apology on his channel. He said, “I can apologize but please don’t make me pay the fine. I made a mistake. I said it but did not do anything.”

The Editor-In-Chief of Times Now was visibly trembling. Other than the fine, he feared a public backlash as well.
