Hyderabad: In a controversial statement , President of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi said they he will never sing the song “Rang De Tu Mohe Gerua” from movie Dilwale.
He was giving speech to a rally at Hyderabad. Our correspondence Loo Laa Langda said, “Mr. Owaisi was opposing the RSS suggestion that every Indian should have to sing this song to show his love towards the country. Owaisi told the reason that, his constitution doesn’t allow him to say word ‘Gerua’. He also added that this ‘Gerua’ is a synonyms of Bhagwa color, thus he is strongly against to sing this song.”
According to our correspondence, Owaisi added to his speech that he has this song downloaded on his smartphone for listening and viewing only. He never sing it while it is played on his phone. He condemn the use of ‘Gerua’ word in this song. He also blamed to the song writer Amitabh Bhattacharya and said, “How could anyone add this word (Gerua) to the song, just to point-out a particular community. I won’t utter that (Gerua word) even if you forced me to watch ‘Tera Surroor’.”
After listening to this controversial statement producer Rohit Shetty and veteran personality Himesh Reshammiya is highly depressed.
