Several Shiv Sainiks rushed with red, green, blue and black color ink bottles at the office of The Faking News, a satirical daily online, in Mumbai, and attacked the editor and staffs complaining of not enough coverage given to Shiv Sena in Faking News. Only Congress, BJP and AAP rules the Fakingnews. The party described the ink attack as a “peaceful protest” against Faking News, affirming “Bura na mano – Holi hai”.

At the BCCI’s 100th AGM held in Thailand, the board officials decided to remove Srini from the top post because of his relatives’ alleged involvement in betting in the IPL. The decision was a part of the board’s clean up drive to keep Indian cricket corruption free.

July: Nobel Peace Prize awarded

The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Arnab Goswami, an Indian journalist who is the editor-in-chief and a news anchor of the Indian news channel Times Now and ET Now. In an official statement, the awarding committee said the prize was for “Arnab’s contribution to create a world record of his noise decibel levels which made the audiences of his shows deaf who watched consistently for more than a week”.

Aug: Gujarat declared the new capital of India
