PIL filed in Bombay High Court against the release of Housefull 3

Mumbai: Activists in Maharashtra have filed a Public interest Litigation (PIL) in Bombay High Court demanding a ban on the release of Housefull 3 film to save the people of India. Housefull 3 is the 3rd film in the series of Housefull films and is set to release later this year.

The PIL, filed by RTI activist Anurag Hirani said that the first 2 films in this series have shown that Housefull films are very dangerous for the sanity of any human being. The success of Housefull 1 and 2 is evidence that people will not willingly stay away from this disaster so the esteemed court should step in and stop this travesty from hitting cinema halls.

Speaking to Faking News, Anurag said, “In an ideal world, people should willingly stay away from such films but the success of the previous 2 films in the series has only proven Katju’s research right so we are not banking on them now. We are taking legal means to stop this man made disaster in its tracks. We were too late to stop the poster release but hopefully, we will get a stay before the trailer hits us.”

“Initially we were happy that Sajid Khan won’t be directing this film but then the producer, Sajid Nadiadwala brought on board another Sajid to direct the film. Since the number of Sajids has remained constant, we are expecting it to be as bad for mental health as the previous films”, Anurag added.

The film’s producers were not available for comment but a senior actor associated with the film told Faking News on the condition of anonymity, “If sequel of Kya Kool Hain Hum can release then what is the problem with our film? Just because they show big boobs along with dumb jokes, you will let them release the film and not us? Not fair.”

Apparently, this is not the only PIL filed by Anurag Hirani. He has also requested for bans on any sequels of Humshakals and Himmatwala.
