New Delhi: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal sprung a surprise during the budget discourse by Arun Jaitley as he appeared out of no where in the visitor’s gallery of the parliament.
He was not wearing his party cap inside the premises for the fear of being escorted out of the Lok Sabha. However, he left no stone unturned in creating chaos from the visitor gallery which eventually shifted the camera’s focus onto him. Soon, the entire media was in the visitor gallery clicking Kejriwal’s photographs while he took the pain of looking into each camera out there.
After thoroughly analyzing Jaitley’s budget, Kejriwal shouted from the gallery like a revolutionary. “Aye Jaitley, Thoonk kyun laga rahe ho paper paltane ko, agar dum ho tho sponge use karo”, screamed Kejriwal as he was escorted outside peacefully.
The entire media came out with him as he gave an impromptu press conference. “Delhi ki janta sab jaanti hai. Yeh sarkaar Bhartiya Samvidhan par thoonk laga rahi hai. Iski jaanch honi chahiye. Kahan hai tumhare Modiji? Kya iska jawab denge Modiji?”, ranted Kejriwal as media got ready to fill in the empty columns for the afternoon news.
Rahul Gandhi who just got out of parliament for a refreshment break came down to Kejriwal and said, “Yeh thoonk ki rajneeti hai. Isse pehle suit boot ki sarkaar thi, ab ghaas poos ki sarkaar ban gayi hai.”
Sources say that Kejriwal might even appear in US presidential debate shows to prove his point and possibly, advertise the highlights of Delhi government’s achievements.
