Faking News gets verified on Twitter

After years of tremendous support and love from its users, the @fakingnews handle today finally got the coveted blue tick on popular micro-blogging website Twitter.

This comes as a surprise to celebrated author Pagal Patrakar who initially didn’t hesitate to term this news as another faking news. The hawk-eye columnist and news expert Anand Ranganathan had made an observation with respect to Twitter’s policy on verified accounts.

This policy also applied to handles of popular websites where comparing scroll, jantaKaReporter, TheUnrealTimes, OpIndia gives a good understanding of why Pagal Patrakar couldn’t believe Twitter would do away with it’s principles.

Although, everyone at FN is proud of this achievement, their next target is to get MyFakingNews the verified badge. That’s a big challenge, to get the extras and ordinaries out to become the extra-ordinaries!
