Engineering Students after drinks have a more civilised and fruitful debate than Arnab’s Newshour

Bihar: In an event of its type, 5 students of Sabkuchh College of Engg, Management, Science and Arts after 4-5 packs of Old Monk started debating the current burning issues.

It all started when someone asked for Cigar which someone else understood to be Bihar. Soon sides were taken by each to Pro-LALU-NITISH to Anti-LALU-NITISH and each of them started giving his point of view while the debate was moderated by Harnab and yes, out of everybody’s surprise he was just moderating the debate and not just repeating his point of views till the panellists surrender.

Fruitful Discussions Going On

As the observers (wingies in this case) noticed that the debate was conducted very smoothly and resolved more issues than NewsHour debate. One of the witness who doesn’t drink on Thursdays and Saturdays, Achha Bacha, told that first he thought they were just drunk and talking endlessly but as I listened to their conversation, it was a proper debate in which issues such as Malda and Dadri were discussed.

The debate was more civilised than television debates and everybody was getting his chance to speak with other panellists supporting him “Bhai tu sahi keh rha he.” Another feature of this debate was that many of the issues were solved instantly as all panellists agreed immediately saying ,”Bhai he tu mera, jo kahega whi hoga“. Also in a much less time of about 1-2 hours issues ranging from  Pathankot, GST, Make In India, Intolerance, Space Travel, Time Paradox to who is best babe at college were resolved with more fruitful results than NewsHour.

When we tried to contact, one of the panellist, Maroof Aaja, who was still in hangover, said, he just remembers speaking something but was not sure if that was a debate and what issues were solved. Similar accounts of the incident were given by other four participants and doubted if they can solve anything after getting into Engineering. They have now decided to record all their future discussions so as they can get any IPR(Intellectual Property Rights) if applicable.
