New Delhi. In an attempt to capture memorable moments of his life, a recent college graduate who was attending his Convocation ceremony forgot to collect his degree while being busy in taking selflie’s.
Too busy with selfie at convocation
Sarthak Eggrawal, a B.Com (H) graduate, like every other student had waited for this day for long. Suited in his best attire, he went to college after checking-in on Facebook and started taking selfies alongwith his college gang starting from the entrance gate and continued till the decorated stage.
On his way, he took selfie with the security guard ,who also used to act his dad whenever he was asked to call his parents for mischievous acts done in college. Then he took selfies in garden, canteen, library, computer lab and some more places which he thought he would miss in future (library being an exception).
On reaching the auditorium, where the event was being organised, he again started taking selfies, this time in graduation robe and cap.
Sometimes with cap on his head and sometimes by flipping cap in the air, where he failed miserably to get a perfect ‘Facebook uploadable’ shot.
To get the perfect Facebook click, he tried repeatedly and missed his turn to collect the degree in the meanwhile.
Angry at his sons deed, Mr. Nakaratmak Eggrawal said, “Iss nalayak se ek kaam dhang se nahi hota. Na to selfie thik se le paya, aur upar se degree lena bhi bhool gya. Socha tha ki deewar ki papdi wali jagah par iski degree laga dunga. Lekin ab birla wall-putti ka kharcha uthana pdega.”
