Rahul Gandhi becomes rickshaw driver for a day in Mumbai, ferries passengers to ease their inconvenience

Mumbai: Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi was in Mumbai today to ease the inconvenience of the people of the city, who had a harrowing time due to the strike called by rickshaw drivers.

However, the agony of the people of Mumbai did not fall on deaf ears. Help came in the form of Rahul Gandhi, who decided to do something about it than just sitting at home and watching it on TV.

A Congress leader who spoke to Faking News said, “When Rahulji saw the scenes in Mumbai, he was distraught. He decided to take matters in his own hands like he did in the case of sanitation workers in Delhi. Despite the bad weather, he took a flight to Mumbai and took the decision that he will be ek din ka rickshaw driver.”

Rahul Gandhi was seen outside suburban Andheri station wearing a khaki uniform and addressing a huge crowd of office goers and party workers. He said, “logon ko pareshani ho rahi hai…mumbai apne raftaar ke liye jaani jaati hai…iski raftaar nahi rukni chahiye ..isliye aaaj mai ek din ka rickshaw driver banne aaya hu.” He criticized the government for not looking into the problems of the common man. He further added, “ye sarkar bullet train banana chahti hai. Lekin aam admi ko kitni dikkat ho rahi hai uska andaza nahi. Inki soch Jurassic Park jitni purani hai, aur baat karte hai desh ko aage badhane ki.

Meanwhile, BJP mocked Rahul Gandhi and said he looked every bit a rickshaw driver. “The entire party should have participated with Mr. Gandhi because the future of the party is bleak anyway and this could be a good investment of time”, said a BJP leader.

When asked about radio-taxis by Faking News reporter, Rahul Gandhi said, “Modiji Mumbai mein radio-taxi laana chahte hai. Isse sirf suit-boot walon ko fayda hoga. Ab radio-taxi ke radio pe modiji apne mann ki baat kahenge.”
