Concerned about the party’s image, PM Modi to re-launch Being Honest T-shirts

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janta Party is going through a rough patch. With Smriti Irani, Vasundhara Raje and Pankaja Munde grappling with their respective issues, PM Narendra Modi has decided to take matters in his own hands and if sources are to be believed, he is planning for an image makeover.

If Being Human can work then why not Being Honest

If Being Human can work then why not Being Honest

Faking News spoke to a senior party leader who said, “The party’s image has suffered in the last few days. On previous occasions too we have faced such situations, but this time the damage to  is considerable. So, Modiji has decided to re-launch Being Honest brand which was first launched when Nitin Gadkari’s Purti scam was in news. Back then we were successful in changing public perception which can be judged by the election results. Now Mr. Gadkari is a Cabinet Minister and no one asks about the Purti scam.”

As part of the re-launch, PM Modi has asked his ministers and party workers to wear Being Honest t-shirts in public. Mr. Narendra Modi will be wearing the t-shirt for his rallies and official visits too. The move is expected to repair what the party has lost in the last week. No resignations are expected in the near future and the party is hoping that the issues will soon be erased from public memory.

Political Analyst Sandeep Kotian said, “It is a masterstroke by the PM. We all know public memory is short. These impropriety and irregularity issues are in media today. Tomorrow someone will make an insensitive statement about women and rape, and then media will find something new to outrage about. These issues will be under the carpet. Through this image change Modiji is just trying to tide over this issue. It’s all about changing perceptions.”

Meanwhile, our sources within the party tell us that talks are on with Yogi Adityanath to arrange for a ‘bailout package’.
