Separatists request PDP-BJP to form a Government so that they can protest against it

Srinagar: Kashmiri separatists are very upset with the delay in formation of Government in the state by PDP-BJP alliance as they are not getting a target to protest against. J&K Government has been in a state of limbo ever since Mufti Mohammad Sayeed passed away last month.

Will they come together in Anti-Nationals' interest?

Will they come together in Anti-Nationals’ interest?

With Mehbooba Mufti now in charge of PDP, BJP and PDP are struggling to come to an agreement on how they will misrule the state in Mufti Mohammad’s absence.

Speaking to the press outside a stone throwing workshop in Srinagar, senior separatist leader Mr Geela Knee  said, “Our boys are ready for the next protest. They are throwing stones as far as 50 Metres these days and with greater accuracy than Malinga’s Yorkers but there is no CM to protest against. This is as frustrating as watching a T20 match getting interrupted by rain after you have practiced for weeks to prepare.”

“We don’t care who forms the government, whether it is PDP-BJP, PDP-NC, PDP-INC, ABC-XYZ, SIN-COS but at least give us a government. If we protest now and someone asks us who are we protesting against then what answer will we give?” complained Mr Geela Knee.

When we asked Mr Knee why he doesn’t protest against the center government in the meantime, he replied,”We keep protests against center for special occasions, like a festival. We are no Kejriwal who has to blame enter 3 times a day. We have some protocols.”

Former Chief Minister Mr Omar Abdullah has taken a shot at both PDP and BJP over this on Twitter. Mr Abdullah tweeted, “PDP-BJP have created so much uncertainty in the region that even separatists are uncertain about their role. Will they get serious and govern”

Meanwhile, President Pranab Mukherjee has also requested PDP and BJP to sort out their differences and form a government quickly as he is already burdened with ruling Arunachal Pradesh and giving any more work to the President is against Indian culture.
