‘Batman vs Superman’ to be remade in India, NDTV’s Ravish Kumar and Times Now’s Arnab Goswami in lead roles

Mumbai: Capitalizing on the current tussle between News anchors, acclaimed Bollywood producer Karan Johar has announced his new project today. According to the reports, he will do a remake of Hollywood film ‘Batman vs Superman’ in Hindi with NDTV’s Ravish Kumar and Times Now’s Arnab Goswami in lead roles.

Arnab vs Ravish

The irresistible force meets the immovable object!

Below is the exclusive interview with Karan Johar.

Faking News(FN): Why did you choose Arnab Goswami for Superman role?

Karan Johar: Superman comes from Krypton, which means he is an alien to earth. When I looked for someone who can play the Alien role, I found Arnab perfect. In fact, like superman, Arnab also wears underwear over his pants – but only few people know this fact as he always stays behind his NewsHour desk.

FN: Okay, How come NDTV’s Ravish got the role of Batman?

KJo: For Batman role (Dark Knight), I needed some one who can work in the dark. Ravish likes to work in the dark, he even read news on NDTV in dark recently (with black screen). Though he clarified there is no technical fault, I think NDTV should really pay their electricity bills.

FN: We heard there are some guest appearances from Spiderman and Wonderwoman, Is it true?

KJo: We tried to get Spiderman and Wonder woman, but as they are busy we had to go with Twitterman and Blunder Woman. Rajdeep Sardesai from India Today will play the Twitterman since he loves to fight with “trolls” “bhakts” etc on Twitter, Twitterwoman is being played by Barkha Dutt for the same reason. Twitterman and Twitterwoman will support Batman in the plot.

FN: Does Superman fight alone, or does he have some support too ?

KJo: He will be supported by Deadpool, played by Zee News anchor Sudhir Chaudhary. The Zee News anchor has a catchy punch line too. It is ‘Great Power comes with Great Irresponsibility’.

FN: Does this film has any songs?

KJo: Of course, It will have 6 songs including one item song with Twitterman Rajdeep.

FN: All your superheroes are played by TV anchors. Do you think all these TV anchors are super heroes in real life?

KJo: The TV anchors sometimes do feel like they are saving the world and consider themselves super heroes, but in reality, they are just wannabes and copies of real heroes, just like my film will be a copy of the real film.
