Assistant Commisioner Sangram Dave said, “After heap of complaints filed by the banks which gave Mallya crores of loans, our team was focused to catch him. Even though media claimed that he ran away from the country, we decided to examine his house to get some clues. But fortunately, now we have found Mallya himself.”

He further added, “It seems that on the night before, he was actually partying with his friends till midnight. Preliminary investigations show that he must have drank too much beer and have slept drunk under his bed. Even though he didn’t run away, that doesn’t mean he is innocent. We found his laptop in which he has seen Houdini’s escape videos, Dhoom movie series and catch me if you can, which clearly shows his intentions of running away. We also found some paper chits in his Pooja room with one bank name written in each chit. We doubt he must have applied for loans bank after bank selecting from the chits. It was shocking that the name of a private blood bank was also found in one of the piece of papers”.

Police are trying their level best to get Mallya regain consciousness from hangover to start their investigation.
