New Delhi: With most parts of the country already enveloped with the summer heat and water scarcity looming all over, PM Modi has urged citizens to take ‘innovative’ approach to celebrating Holi this year.
Holi this year will not be the same
As per sources in the PMO, Mr. Modi has asked the nation to celebrate the festival online and us MS Paint to throw colors.
Speaking to Faking News a senior leader from the ruling party said, “It’s true, Modiji was concerned about water situation in the country and wanted to do something about it. The best we can do is save water. With our PM’s out-of-the-box idea we will not only save water but also give push to digital India.”
“I already told you he is God’s gift. Who else could have thought of something like this,” said Venkaiah Naidu, as he glanced through a few tutorials on MS Paint.
Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, who unveiled a site where users can upload their images and then use MS Paint to throw colors, said, “Now there wont be any water wastage. In addition people don’t have to take a bath once they are done playing online.”
“This will be one of kind Holi and I fully support the online form it as long as the sweets and samosas that we eat on this festival are not virtual,” guffawed Nitin Gadkari, as he watered his garden.
No sooner the news of ‘Online Holi’ was out in the media, news of ‘Rain Dance’ being arranged to celebrate the festival was reported from a few universities.
Students were seen keeping their bathroom taps open to protest against PM Modi for infringing on their Freedom to Enjoy.
At JNU, Kanhaiya Kumar was seen running with bucket full of water in his hand across the hostel, throwing it on unsuspecting students.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi lashed out at the PM for forcing people to celebrate the festival in an unconventional way and threatened to join the protesting JNU students in their Holi Rain Dance.
