Although DDLJ is considered one of the classic movies of Bollywood, watching it over and over again must have been daunting task for Deepak. His health had started deteriorating during those days. His mother said,”Deepak was not able to eat properly and even lost his weight drastically. But I, as a mother, am proud of the perseverance that my son has shown”.

On the 50th day Deepak visited his family doctor as he was feeling uneasy. The doctor diagnosed him of nausea and advised him to stop watching the movie. However Deepak was bent upon to complete the feat.

When Mayekar Bhau, the gatekeeper of Maratha Mandir was asked for verification, he saluted the sincerity of Deepak. He said, “On the last and the penultimate day Deepak vomited twice during the song Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna and the climax fight. But he did not give up. I have never seen such determination”.

Deepak acknowledged of receiving the cash from Nilesh. When Nilesh was approached, he denied to comment on the topic. One of Nilesh’s close friends told that he was deeply disappointed about being at the losing end. Why wouldn’t he be ?
