Los Angeles: Indians seem to be in great demand this awards season in Hollywood. After it was confirmed that Priyanka Chopra will present an award during the Oscars ceremony, news has come in that megastar Kamaal R. Khan has been selected to present an award during Golden Raspberry Awards, often shortened to the Razzies.

Speaking to Faking News, one of the organizers of The Razzies said, “We are always on the lookout for the worst in cinema. Recently, one of our fans alerted us to this incredible film named Deshdrohi. We were left gobsmacked; this film could have swept the Razzies winning every award. How did we miss this gem? Now since this is an old film, we couldn’t nominate it this year but we thought we could always invite the legend who made this film to present an award.”
“As it is, diversity is the key issue this year across Hollywood. By inviting a brown guy to present an award, we are also showing that we are very inclusive. It helps that he is such a talented filmmaker, producer, director, writer, film reviewer and what not. This guy is a goldmine of talent. We are really excited to have him”, said the Razzies organizer excitedly.
As per Bollywood sources, this news has upset many Bollywood superstars who thought they have made worse films than KRK. Many filmmakers are now sending DVDs of their films to the Razzies organizers to show that they have made worse films than Deshdrohi. When reports last came in, Sajid Khan had sent Humshakals, Shirish Kunder had sent Joker, Rajkumar Kohli had sent Jaani Dushman and Ram Gopal Verma had sent RGV Ki Aag to show their masterful work.
Though it may be too late this year but most of them are hopeful that they will be invited to Los Angeles next year to present an award.
Meanwhile, after getting his invitation, KRK tweeted, “Kiss to Razzies, Kick to Oscars”
