FN Social Media Bureau: Social networking site’s buzz in the youth is known to all and we, Faking news, were on investigating a story about how social networking sites are enticed with youth’s routine. Here is the first story of the part of our investigation series.

Facebook- reason for meeting and separating!

Facebook- reason for meeting and separating!

As per the investigation, Jignesh and Jigisha (name changed) got married on the day of the valentine day- 14th Feb. It was love marriage. Both came in touch through Facebook. Both claim to fall in ‘love at first display pic’, Jignesh proposed her on whatsapp.

Discussing this sotry further, we contacted their friends. Our FN reporter came to know that, Jignesh gifted SLR camera to Jigisha as wedding gift. Jigisha’s gift was Selfie-stick to Jignesh. Friends said that all was good between both till 22nd Feb on the day when they returned form honeymoon. As their friends said, relationship started souring form the moment when Jigisha uploaded pic on Facebook. Their Honeymoon pic got only 97 likes and in that 48 likes came form the friends of Jignesh and remaining 49 were form Jigisha’s friend. Waiting for another 24 hours for some more likes, they were hoping to reach to a century. But to their disappointment, the number 97 turned out to be an unlucky number and they didn’t get any. And finally considering this as an omen, she decided for separation.

In off the camera discussion, Jigisha told our reporter, “I always used to get 150+ likes on any of my pics, even the pic of my doggie had 130 likes before marriage and 97 likes to honeymoon pics is not acceptable to me”. When our reporter asked about the alimony after divorce, she said that she only wanted her selfie stick back.
