Los Angeles: It is good news again for Indian fans of Hollywood movies. A famous film series director has decided to shoot the final film of his series in India.
Anderson is famous for directing Resident Evil series. As of now, five parts of the movie series has been released and had earned huge revenues across the world. The director who is currently penning the final part declared that he would base the movie in India. Excited to learn more, we spoke with the director himself. “What you had heard is true! I had completed the shooting of the movie in South Africa. But a recent event that happened in India shifted my attention to these group of guys who will be the perfect fit for a zombie movie. So, I’m going to rewrite the whole script and also again shoot the movie from scratch”, revealed Anderson.
He continued, “In every film of Resident Evil, there would be this T-virus which would be infecting the human beings turning them into zombies. Zombies turn others into zombies and kill everyone. In the sixth part which I had shot in South Africa, we also featured such scenes. Yet, we felt that it has become too boring and too redundant. We want something that can be so natural and so fresh yet can fill viewers with horror. It was at such a time that I happened to read about Jat agitation in India and how the group of Jats were able to spread horror in an Indian state. After inquiring about this with my Indian friends, I decided to set my final movie ‘The Final Chapter’ in India.”
“In the ‘Resident Evil: Final Chapter’, Jats will be infected by a new virus called R-virus. They become zombies and start attacking malls, schools, colleges, companies and anything that can be destroyed. They spread fire, loot shops and stop trains. They block water and road and create havoc. It is here that our protagonist Alice will land as a support to Indian Army and try to get rid of the zombies by reducing their numbers”, concluded Anderson, whose assistants have already started auditioning in Haryana.
When pressed about the R-virus, he said, “R in R-virus stands for Reservation.”
