Impressed by Usman’s walking skill, Mahesh Bhatt planning to cast him in Indian version of LOTR

Mumbai: Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt, known for spotting talent from across the border, is planning to cast Pakistani terrorist Usman in the Indian remake of Hollywood movie Lord of the Rings.

Speaking to Faking News, Mahesh Bhatt said, “Yes it’s true. I am planning to make an Indian version of LOTR. We have had auditions for it too, but none of the candidates met my expectations. I read yesterday that a Pakistani national was caught by security forces. He seems to have walked for 12 days before reaching India and that impressed me. LOTR is essentially a walkathon, so I have finalized him for the remake.”

When questioned about terror connections of the ‘Pakistani national’, Mr. Bhatt said, “How can he be a terrorist? He looks so innocent. Maybe it’s a case of mistaken identity. Media should refrain from branding every Pakistani as a terrorist.”

Meanwhile, Pakistani media, which refrained from reporting on the issue has called Mahesh Bhatt the true ambassador of Aman ki Aasha. “Everytime a suspected terrorist is caught, Indian media goes all guns blazing to blame Pakistan. We have already made it clear that these are non-state actors. But sane voices like Mahesh Bhatt help in reducing tension between the two nations and improve relations,” said the Editor-in-chief of a leading Pakistani news channel.

Many out of work actors from across the border were hopeful that Mahesh Bhatt will do something for them too. With the local movie industry not doing much for them, the only hope for strugglers is Mahesh Bhatt.

“I request Bhattsaab to do something for me too. I have participated in many anti-India rallies and given my best performance. Please check out my video on YouTube,” said Sarfaraz, a struggling Pollywood actor.

No dates have been finalized yet, but Mahesh Bhatt is optimistic about the project.

“True art has no religion. Gandhiji said, an eye for an eye will make the whole world blind. As a movie maker, I will do everything possible to bring people of both nations closer to each other,” he said while scratching his back.
