PCB wants India-Pak match at New Delhi

New Delhi. Amidst all the hullabaloo in the recent time regarding the security concerns over the much awaited India-Pakistan clash in the World T20, 2016 at Dharamshala, the match has been finally shifted to the Eden Garden, Kolkata. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board is still not satisfied with this decision. According to sources, the PCB wants the India-Pakistan match at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium, New Delhi so that students of JNU can come in huge number to support them as it will make the Pakistani team feel like their home support.

"Delhi feels home", says Pakistani Cricketers

“Delhi feels home”, says Pakistani Cricketers

“We have heard ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ with the green flag waving in some of the videos in the recent past. We are sure the match at Feroz Shah Kotla will certainly help the JNU students to come in huge amount and support the Pakistani team” said PCB chief, Shahryar Khan. He also added, “The support in JNU for Pakistan is mindboggling. Allah swear we have not received any such humongous support ever in Pakistan. I am fully convinced that Pakistani players will feel like playing in their home turf.”

In response to the statement by PCB chief, the Vice-captain of Indian cricket team Virat Kohli is also happy. He said “I welcome the demand of Shahryar Khan. Even I want to play in Delhi as it is my hometown and I can abuse the Pakistani players freely there.”

The JNU campus was full of excitement after this. The students reunited quickly and created slogans to express their feelings. Some of the slogans are as follows:
“Hume chahiye India se World Cup match se Aazadi” as Pakistan has never been able to beat India in any form of World Cup game.

“Akhtar hum sharminda hai, Sachin ke chakke ki karte hum ninda hai”, remembering the epic battle of 2003 World Cup when India locked horns with Pakistan, a match of Olympion importance and Sachin Tendulkar hammered Shoaib Akhtar for a six over the third man.

“Tum kitne run-out karoge? Har batsman se Inzamam niklega” expressing their frustration about the time when Inzamam-Ul-Haq always used to get run out as he ran slow and gets involved in a mix-up with his partner.
