Speaking to Faking News, an unrecognizable Rajeev Shukla said, “Yes it’s true, I have covered my face with black ink. I am very well aware of Shiv Sena’s style of protesting. I don’t want to be the next Sudheendhra Kulkarni and that is why I poured ink on myself.”

Shiv Sainiks however said that they had no plans to pour ink on Mr. Shukla. “There is some cost cutting going on within the party. Uddhav saheb has asked us to rationalize and that is why we decided not to pour ink. Baar Baar ink nahi daal sakte, ek ink bottle ki keemat pata hai aapko,” said Mr. Sanjay Raut.

Refusing to court any controversy some BCCI officials said that it was a case of ‘bad hair dyeing ’, which gave the appearance of black paint on the IPL Chairmans face.

Meanwhile, critics of Rajeev Shukla lashed out at the IPL chairman saying, “Mr. Shukla is fooling the nation with his antics. His face is already black with IPL scam, no amount of black ink is going to have any effect on him now.”
