How various people celebrated Holi

Subrata Roy/Yogendra Yadav: Holi came early for both these gentlemen and was thrust upon them by force by others. So both decided to remain in the spirit of the festival and refused to wash their face till the festival officially ended. While Subrata Roy claimed that he did it for the country, Yogendra Yadav denied that it was to gain sympathy.

Nitish Kumar: Played Holi by smearing black color on every printout of opinion poll that shows JD(U) performing badly in Bihar during the coming general elections. He called this a secular way of celebrating Holi. Later he applied green color (dominant color in his party’s flag) on everyone who recently joined his party.

Lalu Yadav: He is known to celebrate kurta-phaad Holi, but decided to not tear any kurta or dhoti this time. He is closely holding on to whatever assets he is left with after defections from his party. Mulayam Singh Yadav: The SP supremo can give a run for their money to all color making companies due to his innate talent of changing colors at will. Netaji doesn't need gulaal to celebrate Holi. He just changed colors according to the kind of people he met on the festival and celebrated the festival. Narendra Modi: While everyone expected him to mix saffron color in Gujarat’s white milk to play Holi, he spent whole day sending DMs (Direct Messages) to his followers on Twitter. Mamata Banerjee: The West Bengal CM celebrated the festival by avoiding red gulaal and arresting 38920 Maoists who were suspected of throwing color on her. Sources say that Anna Hazare didn’t send her any Holi greetings. Aamir Khan: He celebrated the festival by rebuking anyone he found playing colors with water. He concluded and told his PA that these guys had no ‘desh ki fikar’ and hence won’t watch his show Satyamev Jayate. However, since the number was alarmingly high, he started worrying about TRPs. Delhi wale: The Delhi guys prepare for everything and anything in life. They even go to buy sabzi from mandi in a designer suit. So how could they not carry forward this tradition on Holi? While women wore clothes purchased from Zara, men were comfortable playing Holi in a Manish Malhotra designed sherwani. Mumbai wale: They spent hours finding an open space where dozens could assemble together to play Holi. All of them were celebrities. Chennai wale: They saved water.
