After losing the Delhi assembly elections badly, Sheila Dixit has retired from state politics and has been given a post-retirement holiday plan in Kerala.
The former Chief Minister of Delhi took over as the Governor of Kerala today, and undertook some activities to understand the local culture better.

Everything starts with food, so Sheila ji tasted some good Malayali cuisine.
She was asked to try some Kathakali, but it she was not too keen after having seen the dance of democracy.
But Sheila ji is not any lazy person, she climbed on to a coconut tree to enjoy the true spirit of Kerala.

Sheila Dixit enjoyed boating with local guide Shashi Tharoor. There was someone else on the boat too, whom Ms. Dixit refused to recognize when asked by our reporter.
Sheila Dixit was seen with Arvind Kejriwal too. While BJP claimed that it proved that Congress and AAP were the same party, AAP supporters claimed that Kejriwal was following Sheila to collect proof of her involvement in CWG scam.
With so much traveling and fun in a single day, Sheila Dixit got an endorsement from another great post-retirement Indian traveler.
