Were right in saying exit poll figures would be proved wrong, we performed much worse: BJP

New Delhi. Even after suffering a humiliating defeat at the hands of AAP in Delhi elections today, BJP which has been routed in the city, has claimed a moral victory in the elections outcome.

BJP who had rejected all Exit Poll and Opinion Poll figures pointed how they were indeed correct when they predicted that those numbers would be proved wrong.

BJP showed this pic to prove how their leaders had correctly predicted the number of seats it will win.

“We stand vindicated. You mocked us when we dismissed the exit poll figures. But we were indeed right. As it has turned out, we have performed much worse than what exit polls had predicted,” said BJP leaders Shahnawaz Hussain.

“Not a single Exit Poll could predict we would not even win 5 seats. This is really a tight slap on the face of all those pollsters. They are indeed bazaroo as Modi ji rightly said,” he added as he blasted all Exit Polls agencies.

BJP further pointed to how even their CM candidate Kiran Bedi turned out to be a better psephologist than all Exit poll agencies.

“Bedi ji knew she was going to lose hence she said that she would debate Kejriwal only on the floor of the house, as she is well aware that seats in Vidhan Sabha are reserved only for winning MLAs,” BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra pointed how astute a leader Kiran Bedi is.

Meanwhile some leaders of BJP still remained confident of forming government in Delhi despite losing the elections.

“We may have lost today in the numbers floated by Election Commission of India. But as per the feedback we have got from our workers and volunteers on the ground, we are confident of a comfortable victory. Like Exit Polls, ECI too would be proved wrong, you just watch out,” said BJP Delhi president Satish Upadhyay as he geared up for Bedi’s swearing up ceremony on 14th February.
