New Delhi. Speaking at the summit of Internet.org, an organization led by Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg repeated his desire to make internet available even in the remote villages of India.
However, Zuckerberg’s plan to increase adoption of internet is not going down well with the likes of Rahul Gandhi and Alia Bhatt, as they fear that jokes cracked on them will reach to more and more people across the country.

“I mean what the hell Zuckerberg is trying to do? I think he is conspiring with BJP to finish my career!” shouted an enraged Rahul Gandhi, adding that attempt to increase internet penetration level in India was a politically motivated step.
Sources tell Faking News that Rahul Gandhi is afraid that if provided internet connection, many of the villagers in Amethi will come to know about viral jokes on him via Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp.
“With the kind of jokes that are available online, end results could be fatal for Congress VP in 2019 Lok Sabha elections if Amethi locals are exposed to those jokes,” explained a source close to Gandhi family.
It’s not only Rahul Gandhi who is worried, even Alia Bhatt, who has been favorite of internet trolls after her blunder at Koffee with Karan is against internet reaching every corner of India.
Reportedly, she along with Rahul Gandhi and few others have written a joint letter to Zuckerberg to drop efforts and advocacy for internet expansion.
“If Zuckerberg continues with his efforts, I am warning him that we will start an organization to wipe out Facebook from India. Just like what I did with Congress,” Rahul Gandhi told Faking News, passing a strong message to the Facebook CEO.
“Ukhaad fekenge facebook ko Hindustaan ke ghar ghar se,” he added.
Meanwhile, unperturbed by Rahul’s threat, Zuckerberg reiterated his vision of putting every Indian online. He said that millions of people in India were unaware and unlucky to miss many precious things by not being on the internet.
“With the help of Internet.org, I will make sure that nobody across the country misses any Rahul Gandhi – Alia Bhatt jokes. Apart from that, I also want people living in remote areas to outrage on topics like Deepika Padukone cleavage controversy. My aim is to bring them into mainstream cyber society,” clarified Zuckerberg.
