News Delhi. In one of its kind incident in the political history of India, strong Modi wave has pushed AAP’s base from Delhi to Punjab.

AAP, which was expecting a good performance in Delhi, is trailing on all the seats in the national capital region, while it has found a new base in the neighboring state of Punjab, where the rookie party is leading on 4 seats.

Even AAP leaders have expressed their shock over the way their whole political base was shifted due to the strong currents arising out of the Modi wave.

“We think, most probably it happened because our party is quite light weight. But nevertheless, it’s always better than drowning in Modi wave. We are not like Congress, we are a new age party, we are flexible and we know how to swim,” said AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal.

Reportedly, few AAP leaders are even blaming bad drainage system of Delhi which failed to handle Modi wave properly.

AAP leaders claim that the wave, which originated somewhere in the eastern UP, was so strongly flowing westward that they were almost on the verge of entering Pakistan along with the flow.

“Thanks to Shiromani Akali Dal and BJP in Punjab, the Modi wave weakened and subsided in Punjab,” an AAP leader said.
