MNS offers Lok Sabha ticket to Ishant Sharma, claims shared values

Mumbai. In a move that is as strange and shocking as Indian bowling in death overs, hardcore Marathi political party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) today announced that they would field Ishant Sharma as a candidate in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The move has come as a shock to their rivals as well as their supporters, who fear MNS shifting from what has long been its ideology of wooing only Marathi voters.

Ishant Sharma couldn’t hide his excitement

MNS chief Raj Thackeray, however, allayed these fears and claimed that the step was taken after the party realized that Ishant and his party shared some common “qualities”.

“Attitude towards winning, for example,” Raj clarified, “We are trying to help Narendra Modi and his NDA win in the same way Ishant tries to help Mahendra Dhoni and his Indian team win.”

Raj expressed confidence out that his supporters would welcome Ishant as the video showing Ishant allegedly abusing Zaheer Khan was one of the most watched videos by MNS workers.

“That was awesome,” Raj added.

But to make sure that the Marathi Manoos politics of MNS is not diluted, Ishant has been asked to learn Marathi, especially Marathi abuses, and take part in demonstrations against toll nakas.

When Faking News asked for comments, Ishant said that he was happy that someone finally spotted and appreciated his talent.

“I will help MNS and Raj Thackeray win,” he issued a statement.

Sources say that MNS is reconsidering their decision after Ishant’s statement.
