Los Angeles, USA. Ace Hollywood film director and producer Christopher Nolan has announced the sequel to his critically acclaimed movie Inception.
Talking to media in a press conference, Nolan revealed that Leonardo DiCaprio has been retained as protagonist in the sequel. He will be playing role of an Archaeological Survey of India’s officer working on a special project of dream digging.
“Dream infiltration was our main theme in the original version, but after we heard about the Unnao treasure hunt being done by the ASI, a new concept of dream digging struck our mind. And we got a brilliant thought of making a cocktail of Inception, National Treasure and Indiana Jones,” said Nolan, explaining the idea behind Inception-2.
Giving a small overview of the story, Nolan said that the sequel will portray ASI as a multinational company that provides its special dream digging services to clients.
Leonardo will be playing character of “Bharat Jones”, an expert of archaeology and dream infiltration, who is on a dangerous mission to find the location of a hidden treasure, which was kept safe and away from the British empire by the Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar.
In order to get to the location, Leonardo plans to reach Bahadur Shah Zafar’s subconscious mind. But as the King is already dead, he first infiltrates into subconscious mind of a sixth generation descendant of the Mughal emperor currently living in Hyderabad.
Once Leonardo enters into Mughal descendant’s subconscious mind, he will jump into his father’s subconscious mind using whatever memories he is having of his father. Through this dream within dream hopping, he will move across generations to finally reach Bahadur Shah Zafar’s subconscious mind.
Inside Zafar’s mind, Leonardo will have to fight with a group of East India Company’s dream infiltrators, who would be present in the Mughal emperor’s subconscious mind for the same reason for which Leonardo is there i.e. to get the national treasure.
Nolan refused to disclose anything about the about the climax of the movie.
Meanwhile back in India, excited with the news of getting featured in a Hollywood flick, ASI has announced that it will undertake more projects like the Unnao gold hunt one.
“We have hired Unnao Baba Shobhan Sarkar as a full time employee and he will guide us to get various such treasures across India,” a senior official of ASI told Faking News.
Sources close to ASI say that Unnao Baba has tipped ASI about presence of baby dinosaurs in interiors of Himalayas. Latest reports suggest that ASI has sent this information to Steven Spielberg, who is working on the fourth installment of Jurassic Park movies.
