Srinagar. With PDP and BJP divided over granting passport to Kashmiri separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani, local Kashmiri youths have taken it upon himself to solve the crisis.
Stone pelting wing of Kashmir going by the acronym of SIMI (Stone-pelting Islamic Movement of Indian occupied Kashmir), have promised Geelani of launching him beyond LoC to Pakistan in case Indian authorities deny him a passport.
The idea is to make him travel till Pakistan after which he could travel to Jeddah on a Pakistani passport.
“Geelani sahib has taught us so much. Whatever we have achieved in the field of stone pelting,’ traitorship’, abusing Indian army, terrorizing Kashmiri Pandits, etc, we owe it to him. This is our time to pay him back and we will ensure no stone unturned, literally, to send him to his mulk Pakistan,” said an overcharged Kahmiri youth.
“And once he is in Pakistan, his and our own mulk, the authorities there would ensure a smooth ride to Saudi Arabia,” he explained confidently.
People in Pakistan are confident that they will help Geelani land safely as they have become expert in sighting flying objects
“We have become used to looking for flying drones so we are sure we will not miss the sight of a flying Geelani and can make out where exactly he will fall,” said a local from Peshawar,” In his honour, we will place a chaadar there to help him land safely.”
Meanwhile Kashmiri locals have also taken this whole assignment as a stepping stone to throwing doing bigger things later on.
“This is the first time we would be throwing off a human. Though Geelani sahib is pretty light weight but still it is going to be a test of our strengths. If successful we could then move over from throwing stones to throwing Pandits itself out of valley,” claimed a veteran stone-pelter with over 20 years of experience under his belt.
