Zaheer suffering from minor fitness, may play next game

New Delhi. After missing the first 3 games for his side Delhi Daredevils due to injuries, latest reports claim that veteran fast bower Zaheer Khan is now suffering from minor fitness and may end up playing next game against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

However Zaheer’s physio is not happy with DD management’s decision.

“Though he is yet to recover fully from fitness, management is still forcing him to play. This is not done. I mean he could gain fitness in the process and that could strike a deadly blow to his ‘injury career’ for rest of his life,” Zaheer’s personal physio told Faking News.

Zaheer disappointed after realizing he has no cramp.

“After all he has only 1-2 more years of injuries left in him,” he added.

However Zaheer’s injury coach has decided to look at the positive aspect of Zaheer playing next match.

“Ideally until Zaheer is fully injured, we don’t want to rush him into not playing games, so we have agreed to management’s decision to make him play next match. Though we are keeping our fingers crossed that he keeps up with his amazing strike rate of getting injured and catches some major injury, which rules him out of the tournament,” his coach hoped.

“We are now waiting for him to be declared fully fit for remaining injured,” he added.

However Zaheer’s fans fear that if continues to gain minor fitness, his records could be in danger.

“Now I am worried if Zaheer’s record of ‘no of injuries taken’ will stand test of the time or not. Already Ishant and Varun Aaron have shown a glimpse of the injuries they are capable of,” one such fan told Faking News.

But there is a large consensus among his fans that whatever happens to his records, he will still remain a legend.

“He is definitely a trendsetter bowler. While normal bowlers come out of injury to play games, Zak comes out of fitness to not play games,” pointed a fan.
