Varanasi: A dramatic disclosure made by AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal at a public meeting in Varanasi has created a vortex within his own party.
Moments after he disclosed that he resigned from Chief Ministership after listening to “Atma ki Awaz”, AAP executive council swung into action and called an emergency meeting of its members without Arvind Kejriwal.
Yogendra Yadav, who otherwise keeps his cool was visibly agitated and said that this was a clear violation of AAP’s principles and Arvind Kejriwal can not listen to anybody else except Arvind Kejriwal.
Prashant Bhushan who has been away from lime light since long said “Atma” is not a common man like us and hence he/she should not be considered by Arvind while taking party decisions.
Gopal Rai was totally confused and was seen asking everybody who this “Atma” was and what was his/her contributions to the party. They however decided to raise the issue with Arvind Kejriwal only after the election results as then it would be easy to blame others for their loss including “Atma”.
They were afraid that if discussed immediately with Arvind Kejriwal, he may retract from his stand and the whole episode will be wasted without any gain.
Faking News has gathered that the “Atma” episode has evoked sharp reactions from other political parties as well.
Sitaram Yechuri of CPI told this reporter that Arvind Kejriwal was again trying to fool gullible Indian voters by involving fictitious entities in his campaign. “There is no such thing as ‘Atma’, I have never heard, seen, or experienced one in my lifetime and there is no proof that ‘Atma’ exists,” the communist leader said.
Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh added that listening to “Atma” was communal as he could never listen to “Atma”, although some “Rooh” at times tried to communicate with him but he did not pay any heed as he was busy fighting with communal forces.
BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad remarked, “We knew from the beginning that AAP receives secret help from Pakistan and anti-Indian forces, this is clear for every one to see now.”
Congress crisis managers were quick to meet and decided to find the “Atma” of Arvind Kejriwal and extend support if required.
